Mein 3.Jahr auf der Kind und Jugend in Köln und ich hab wieder einiges entdeckt, was das Reisen mit Kindern noch einfacher, schöner und spannender macht. Ich schau mich natürlich auch immer nach Neuigkeiten um, die das unterwegs sein mit Zöliakie erleichtern.

Handcreme von Toddle

Eine Handcreme? Ihr fragt euch jetzt sicher warum es ausgerechnet eine Handcreme unter meinen Highlights auftaucht? Seit ich Mama bin wasche ich mir deutlich öfter die Hände als früher, gerade unterwegs und seit der Diagnose Zöliakie wasche ich mir praktisch ständig die Hände um jegliche Kontamination zu vermeiden. Viele benutzen zusätzlich Handdesinfektion das greift die Haut auf Dauer an. Klar, wir benutzen Handcreme um unsere Hände zu pflegen und schützen, aber Toddle-Born Wild hat sich da was ganz schlaues ausgedacht. Eine Handcreme mit zusätzlichen ‚guten’ Milchsäurebakterien, die die Haut noch besser vor Austrocknung schützen soll, für mich als Biologe und Mama eines Kindes mit Zöliakie ein absolutes Muss! Natürlich ist die Creme vegan und glutenfrei. Die Handcreme gibts in einem süßen Set mit Lippenpflege, einem Schlauchschal und einem Sun- und Windbalm, entwickelt wurden die Produkte in Großbritanien, also bestens geeignet für alle, die mit ihren Kindern gerne Abenteuer in der Natur erleben oder im Norden Urlaub machen.

Buggy und Fahrradsitz

Påhoj hat etwas entwickelt, was Ihnen, meiner Meinung nach^absolut zurecht, eine Nominierung für den Design Award der Kind und Jugendmesse 2019 eingebracht hat, einen Kinderfahrradsitz der blitzschnell zum Bugger umfunktioniert werden kann. Oh Mann das hätte ich gern schon vor 2 Jahren gehabt. Was für eine geniale Kombi, dass da nicht schon früher jemand drauf gekommen ist. Für Kinder bis 22kg oder ca bis 4/5 Jahren. Leider kam die Erfindung für uns etwas spät, aber ich bin mir sicher, das wird ein Hit.

Reise-Zahnbürste

Wir gehören zu den glücklichen Familien wo Zähne putzen zu keinen Dramen führt, aber seit ich die pinke elektronische Zahnbürste brushbaby mitgebracht hab, kann meine Kleine das Zähneputzen gar nicht mehr erwarten. Vor allem die Sticker, mit denen Die Zahnbürste verziert werden kann, kam super an. Mein Plan die Zahnbürste nur unterwegs zu nutzen – keine Chance, sie ist im Badezimmer bei uns zu Hause eingezogen.

Bentobox

Es ist und bleibt mein absoluter Favorit für Snacks unterwegs, die Bentobox von Penny Scallan Designs. Seit wir glutenfrei unterwegs sind, hab ich sowieso immer etwas zu essen dabei und die Bentobox hat sich zu unserem ständigen Begleiter entwickelt. Neu dazu gekommen ist die kleine Bentobox, ideal für einen Abstecher zum Spielplatz. Die passt auch in eine mittelgroße Handtasche. Sowieso unschlagbar die Designs!  Was ich bisher gar nicht so auf dem Schirm hatte, Pennyscallen hat auch extrem süße Regenoutfits. Meine Kleine ist begeistert und liebt ihre Lamaregenjacke!

Auto-Organizer

Wir haben etliche Autositz-Organizer ausprobiert um Spielzeug, Trinkflasche und ähnliches während der Autofahrt einerseits sinnvoll zu verstauen und gleichzeitig für unsere Kleine erreichbar zu sein. Bisher waren wir eher mäßig erfolgreich. Wir haben natürlich die typischen Taschen die an der Rückseite des Vordersitzes angebracht werden, allerdings kommt meine Kleine einfach nicht hin. Das wird sich in Zukunft ändern. Denn den Organizer den ich bei Princelionheart entdeckt habe, steht neben dem Kindersitz. Durch die einzelnen Fächer, hält sich das Chaos auch noch in Grenzen.

Ich freue mich, dass ich wieder einige neue Produkte für unsere nächsten Trips gefunden hab, die helfen unser Leben unterwegs noch besser zu machen.

My 3rd year at the Kind and Youth fair in Cologne and I have discovered some products, which makes travelling with children easier, more beautiful and more exciting. Of course, I also checked for items that make it more convenient to be on the road with celiac disease.

My favorites

Hand cream by Toddle

A hand cream? You’re wondering now why it’s a hand cream that appears among my highlights? Since I became a mum, I wash my hands much more often than before, especially during traveling and since the diagnosis of celiac disease I wash my hands practically constantly to avoid any trouble with contamination. Many additionally use hand disinfection that attacks the skin in the long run. Sure, we use hand cream to care for and protect our hands, but Toddle-Born Wild has come up with something very clever. A hand cream with additional ‘good’ lactic acid bacteria, which should protect the skin even better from dehydration, for me as a biologist and mom of a child with celiac disease an absolute must! Of course, the cream is vegan and gluten-free. The hand creme is available in a sweet set with lip care, a hose scarf and a sun and wind balm, the products were developed in Great Britain, so best suited for those who like to adventure in nature with their children or travel to the north.

Buggy and bicycle seat

Pahoj has developed something that, in my opinion, is absolutely worth a nomination for the Design Award of the Kind and Youth Fair 2019, a child bike seat that can be converted into a bugger. Oh man I would have liked to have had that 2 years ago. What a genius idea, surprising no one has come up with that before. For children up to 22kg or about up to 4/5 years. Unfortunately, the invention came a little late for us, but I’m sure it will be a hit.

Travel toothbrush

We are one of the lucky families where brushing teeth does not lead to any dramas, but since I brought the pink electronic toothbrush, my little one can’t wait to brush her teeth. Especially the stickers, with which the toothbrush can be decorated, were very popular. My plan to use the toothbrush only on the go – no chance, it has moved in, in our bathroom at home.

Bentobox

It is and remains my absolute favorite for snacks on the go, the Bentobox by Penny Scallan Designs. Since we are gluten-free on the road, I always bring something to eat anyway and the bentobox has become our constant companion. New addition is the small Bentobox, ideal for a detour to the playground. It also fits in a medium-sized handbag. Anyway unbeatable the designs!  What I didn’t know before, Pennyscallen also has extremely cute rain outfits. My little one is thrilled and loves her llama rain jacket!

Auto-Organizer

We have tried several car seat organizers to store toys, drinking bottles during the car journey on the one hand and at the same time be accessible to our little one. So far, we have been moderately successful. Of course, we have the typical pockets that are attached to the back of the front seat, but my little one just can’t get there. That will change in the future. Because the organizer I discovered at Princelionheart stands is stored next to the child seat. Due to the individual compartments, the chaos is also limited, thumbs up!

I am happy that I have found some new products for our next trips, which help to make our lives even better on the road.
