Nachdem der Versuch auf dem Eis letztes Jahr schon ganz erfolgreich war, haben wir einen verregneten, ungemütlichen Samstag genutzt und sind zum Schlittschuhlaufen, genauer gesagt zur Eisdisko ins Slide-Cologne!

Eisdisko für kids

Direkt davor kostenlos geparkt und zu meiner Überraschung ist die Kunsteisbahn direkt bei der Zirkusfabrik, die ich mir auch schon länger mal ansehen wollte. Einmal am kleinen Indoorspielplatz vorbei hinten in die Eishalle. Die Musik wummert es ist relativ dunkel und die Bahn ist farbig beleuchtet. Die Bahn, naja eine sehr überschaubare rechteckige Fläche, die zwar gut besucht ist, aber nicht überfüllt ist. Drum herum Stühle und Tische zum Schlittschuh anziehen. Die Stühle werden auf der Bahn auch als Laufhilfen verwendet.Eintritt und Leihgebühr sind ok, wenn man die 3h Eisdisko (10-13.00) voll ausnutzt. Leih-Schlittschuhe gab es schon ab Größe 25!

Da das Kunsteis extrem langsam ist, ist es für alle kleinen Anfänger und zum Üben ideal, nach kürzester Zeit sind die Kleinen auch ohne Festhalten übers Eis “gelaufen”, für Könner ist die Bahn eher nix.

Zirkusfabrik

Fluch und Segen, der Spielplatz, den die Kinder schon beim Reingehen entdeckt haben. Nach einer knappen Stunde Eislaufen wollten sie lieber auf den Spielplatz. Käffchen geholt und den Kindern entspannt beim Toben zugesehen. Spiele Bücher, Wickel- und Stillraum, hier ist alles da für einen entspannten Nachmittag.
Tipp: Beide Aktionen sind auch Kindergeburtstagstauglich.

After our successful attempt on the ice last year, we used a rainy, uncomfortable Saturday and went for ice skating, more precisely to the ice disco at the Slide-cologne!

Ice disco for kids

We parked directly in front and for free. To my surprise, the artificial ice rink is right next to the circus factory, which I already wanted to see for a while. Once at the small indoor playground past the back of the ice hall. The music is buzzing it is relatively dark and the track is illuminated in color. The track, well a very manageable rectangular area, which is well visited, but not overcrowded. Surrounded with chairs and tables. The chairs are also used on the track as sliding aids. Entry and rental fee are ok if you take full advantage of the 3h ice dancing (10am-1pm). Rental skates were available from size 25!
As the artificial ice is extremely slow, it is ideal for all little beginners, after a short time, the little ones “slide” even without help, for experts, the track is rather nothing.

Circus factory

Curse and blessing, the playground, the children have already spotted when we went in. After less than an hour of skating, they preferred to go to the playground. We grabbed a coffee and watched the children playing. Games, books and changing facilities make it a relaxing family space.
Tip: Both actions are also suitable for children’s birthday.
