Ich wollte mir schon lange mal den Wildpark Lindenthal in Köln ansehen. Letztes Wochenende waren wir mit Freunden aus den Niederlanden und insgesamt drei Kindern dann endlich mal dort. Es war zwar ziemlich viel los, aber dadurch, dass das Gelände sehr weitläufig ist und die Tiere richtig schön viel Platz haben gibt’s auch genug Gelegenheit Tiere anzuschauen und zu füttern. Im Park gibt es überall Automaten, bei denen man sich für nur 50 Cent eine Box mit Futter holen, ein sehr humaner Preis wie ich finde, der Eintritt an sich ist auch frei. Die Kleinen fanden es auf jeden Fall super lustig von den Ziegen das Futter aus der Hand geschleckt zu bekommen. Es gibt im Wildpark zwar kein Cafe, aber an Imbißständen kann man sich zumindest einen Kaffee gegen die Kälte holen. Gleich vor dem Parkeingang wurde, zumindest als wir am Sonntag da waren auch noch Ponyreiten angeboten, für 3€ die Runde.

Tipp: Normalerweise kann man an der Kitschburger Strasse parken leider ist die wohl am Wochenende immer gesperrt, daher muss man die Straßen rund um den Stadtwald nach einer Parkmöglichkeit absuchen,

I wanted to visit the wildlife park in cologne Lindenthal already for a while. Last weekend we went there with friends from the Netherlands and a total of three children. Although it was quite busy, but the fact that it is very spread out and the animals have a lot  of space there’s also plenty of opportunities to watch animals and feed them. The park has machines in which you get a box of animal food for just 50 cents, a very humane price in my opinion. There is no entrance fee as well. For the kids it was super funny to get licked from the goats during feeding. Even there is no cafe in the park you can at least grab a coffee. Just outside the park entrance at least last sunday when we were there, there was even pony rides available, 3 € round.

Tip: Normally, you can park at the Kitschburgerstrasse but it is closed at the weekends, so you have to check the streets around the city forest for a parking spot.
