Zusammen mit ganz vielen anderen Touris sind wir mit dem Bus von Cala Mesquida nach Cala Ratjada gefahren, ist ganz einfach und günstig, 1,9€ pro Fahrt und Erwachsener.

Kleiner Ausflug nach Cala Ratjada

Cala Ratjada ist ein ziemlich touristisches Städtchen, mit einer ganz netten Promenade, schattigen Wäldern zum durchspazieren oder reiten und schönen Sandstränden.

Cala Ratjada hat einiges an Stränden zu bieten wir waren an der Cala Agulla, einer sehr hübschen Bucht im Norden des Urlaubsortes. Im Hintergrund das Naturschutzgebiet mit Kiefern und Dünenlandschaft.

Tipp: Richtig toll, in Spanien steht auf jeder Eiskarte drauf, ob das Eis glutenfrei ist oder nicht, spart einem lange Erklärungen und die Nachfragerei, herrlich!

Samstags ist in Cala Ratjada Markt, hauptsächlich, Klamotten, Taschen und Krimskrams, aber auch ein bisschen Obst und Gemüse.
Am Rande des Marktes mitten im Städtchen mit Blick aufs Meer ein Kinderspielplatz, Schatten gibt’s drum rum.

Glutenfrei Essen in Cala Ratjada

Ganz zufällig sind wir in der Green Box, gelandet, einem vegetarischen Restaurant mit Beachfeeling und vielen glutenfreien Großen- und Kleinigkeiten. Ich hab mir einen gigantisch großen Mangosmoothie gegönnt und schon befürchtet, dass ich die Hälfte an meine Kleine abgeben muss, aber sie hat einen eigenen kleinen von der Bedienung bekommen, sehr lieb. Das Essen war frisch und lecker, für mich Mango-Avocado-Rucola-Salat, yummy! Auf Nachfrage haben wir sogar selbstgebackenes glutenfreies Brot bekommen, so was von lecker! Das Beste, am Ende hat uns die nette Dame der Green Box einen Laib Brot einfach so mitgegeben. Soviel Gastfreundlichkeit, lange nicht erlebt. Absolut zu empfehlen!

Trip to Cala Ratjada

Cala Ratjada is a quite touristy place with a very nice promenade, shady woods to walk through or do some horseback riding and beautiful sandy beaches.
Cala Ratjada has a lot of beaches to offer we went to Cala Agulla, a very pretty bay in the north of the city. In the background a nature reserve park with pines and dune landscape.

Tip: Really great, in Spain on ice-cream menus it is stated whether the ice is gluten-free or not, saves long explanations, perfect!

Saturdays there is market in Cala Ratjada, mainly, clothes, bags, but also some fruits and vegetables.
On the edge of the market, in the middle of town including a view of the sea, a children’s playground, shadows around it.

Gluten-free food in Cala Ratjada

By chance we ended up in the Green Box, a vegetarian restaurant with beach feeling and many gluten-free choices. A gigantic mango smoothie for me. Probably I have to share with my little one, but she  got her own small one from the waitress, sweet. The food was fresh and tasty, for me mango-avocado-rocket salad, yummy! On request, we even got home-baked gluten-free bread, so delicious! The best, at the end, the nice lady of the Green Box gave us a loaf of bread just like that. So much hospitality, absolutely recommended!
