Noch müssen wir uns ja nicht an die Schulferien halten, darum steht unser Sommerurlaub noch bevor. Es geht mit dem Auto an den Gardasee.
Mit dem Auto in den Urlaub
Ungefähr 950km liegen vor uns, sprich ca 10h Fahrt und das ohne Pausen oder Stau.
Selbst ohne Kind eine ganz schöne Strecke für einen Tag, trotzdem wären wir früher ohne Stopp durchgefahren, um so schnell wie möglich an unser Ziel zu kommen. Mit Kleinkind reisen wir allerdings anders, legen Zwischenstopps ein, sind generell langsamer unterwegs. Auch bei dieser Urlaubsreise wird ganz schnell klar, wir legen irgendwo eine Übernachtung ein. Aber wo?
Als ich mir diese Frage gestellt hab, bin ich zufällig über den Autobahn-Guide gestolpert, den ich euch heute gern vorstellen möchte und den ihr auch gewinnen könnt!
Unser Plan
Wir planen mal an beiden Tagen ca die Hälfte zu fahren und suchen rund um Basel vorab schonmal eine potentielle Unterkunft. Nicht zu weit von der Autobahn entfernt, wir wollen ja keine unnötige Zeit verlieren, aber gleichzeitig schön ruhig und natürlich gern familienfreundlich, am besten mit Spielplatz zum Austoben nach der langen Fahrt. Falls uns Stau oder Kind zum umplanen zwingen, werden wir uns spontan was anderes suchen. Auswahl bietet der Autobahnguide genug, egal für welchen Geldbeutel. Mit Frühstück, Sauna oder Abenteuerspielplatz, gehoben oder gutbürgerlich, hier findet ihr für 28 europäische Länder eure individuelle Übernachtungsmöglichkeit. Praktisch sortiert nach den jeweiligen Autobahnabfahrten.
Ich schmöker ja gerne in Reiseführern und lese mir auch im Autobahnguide die Tipps zur Route durch und die Städteinfos und Sehenswürdigkeiten rund um unseren geplanten Zwischenstopp, vielleicht lässt sich unsere Übernachtung noch mit einem kleinen Ausflug kombinieren?!
Der Autobahnguide kommt auf jeden Fall in Zukunft in mein Handschuhfach, meneer wird sich wahrscheinlich eher die App runterladen oder auf der Webseite nach potentiellen Unterkünften suchen.

Luckily we still do not have to stick to school holidays, thus, our summer vacation is yet to come. By car to Lake Garda.
By car on vacation
About 950km, meaning 10h drive ahead of us. Even without a child a quite for a day. Nevertheless just the two of us would have rushed through without a stop to get to the destination as fast as possible. With toddlers we travel differently, make a stopover, are generally slower. Also with this holiday trip we stay somewhere overnight. But where?
When I asked myself this question, I happened to stumble over the Autobahn-Guide, which I would like to introduce to you today and you can also win one of the books!
Our plan
We plan to drive the half on two days, meaning I‘ll check out the area around Basel for potential accommodations. Not too far from the highway, we do not want to lose any unnecessary time, but at the same time nice and quiet and of course family friendly, preferably with playground to let off steam after the long drive. If we get forced to change plans due to traffic jams or our child, we will spontaneously look for something else. Plenty choices you‘ll find in the highway guide, no matter what budget. I really like browsing through travel guides, reading the tips for the route or the city information and attractions around our planned stopover. The motorway guide will end up in my glove compartment, meneer will probably download the app or look for potential accommodations on the website.
