Ich gehöre zu den Leuten, die während der Schwangerschaft ziemlich viel zugenommen haben, allerdings hat mich der Satz: “wenn du stillst purzeln die Pfunde” immer beruhigt. Ich habe gestillt und es hat nichts gebracht, dann hieß es: “wenn du abgestillt hast, nimmst du ab”, zu der Kategorie gehöre ich offensichtlich auch nicht. Dann mein absoluter Lieblibgssatz:” 9 Monate kommt der Bauch, 9 Monate geht er”. 9 Monate sind um…. Was ist die Lösung: Sport, soviel Sport habe ich das letzte Mal als Jugendlicher gemacht. Die Frage, die sich bei Sport in der Elternzeit natürlich stellt: Mit oder ohne Kind? Bei mir ganz klar mit! Was gibt es für Möglichkeiten? Nach der üblichen Rückbildung habe ich mit Buggyfit angefangen, zumindest in meinem Freundeskreis relativ unbekannt. Da man sich das Ganze erst mal in einer Probestunde anschauen darf wollte ich mal wissen ob meine Kleine 1h brav im Kinderwagen bleibt. War gar kein Problem, da es für sie fast wie der übliche Spaziergang war. Für den Notfall kann man auch noch seine Trage mitnehmen. Das ganze läuft so ab, man trifft sich mit der Trainerin und anderen Mamas, Meist in einem Park und walkt zügig mit Schwunghanteln durch die Gegend. In den Sommermonaten, gibt’s Mattentraining, sprich Yogamatte oder eine Outdoordecke mitnehmen. Die Kleinen schauen dabei vom Buggy aus zu oder sitzen in der Mitte auf einer Decke zusammen mit den andern Kindern und spielen. Falls der Boden mal nass ist oder in den Wintermonaten wird an Bänken oder mit Terrabändern trainiert (an Weihnachten gab es auch eins für das Training zu Hause geschenkt), dadurch ist das Training auch sehr abwechslungsreich. Fast jede Woche ist wieder eine neue Übung dabei. Theoretisch kann man die Übungen auch alleine machen aber mir geht es so ich bin in der Gruppe sehr viel motivierter. Das Training ist zwar anstrengend, aber man kommt gut mit. Mir gefällt es so gut, dass ich mittlerweile schon den 2. Kurs mache. Ich hatte das Glück dort auch noch andere Mamas kennenzulernen mit denen ich mich auch sonst treffe. Natürlich regnet es auch mal, aber man geht mit einem Kind ja meist sowieso bei jedem Wetter raus. Buggyfit gibt es nicht nur in Köln sondern auch an vielen anderen Standorten in Deutschland! Man kann sich entweder zu einem Kurs mit 10 Kurseinheiten anmelden, der wird je nach Krankenkasse 1-2 mal im Kalenderjahr zu ca 80% unterstützt oder man holt sich eine 10er Karte und trainiert wann man will. Wenn ich wieder arbeite, werde ich wahrscheinlich auf das Sportprogramm am Abend ohne Kind umsteigen! Kann den Kurs in Köln mit Nora nur jedem empfehlen.

I have nursed and nothing changed, then there is a saying: “if you have weaned you loose weight” apparently I also do not belong to the 2nd category. And my favourite sentence: “9 months the belly is growing, 9 months it takes till the belly is gone”. 9 months have passed…. What`s the solution: sports, last time I did so much sports was quite a while ago. The question that arises during parental leave: With or without a child? In my case clearly with! What are the options? After the usual regression I started with buggyfit, to my friends relatively unknown. I began with a trial lesson I wanted to know whether my little one remains 1h in the stroller still behaving, was not a problem, as it was almost like the usual walk. Just in case, you can also bring your carrier. The whole procedure works like following you meet with the trainer and other moms usually in a park, followed by walking with swing dumbbells through the area. In summer, there’s mat training, ie take a yoga mat or outdoor blanket. The little ones have fun watching or sit in the middle on a blanket and play with the other children. When the ground is wet or during winter months you train on benches or with terra bands (at Christmas we get one as a gift for the training at home). The training is various, almost every week there is a new exercise. Theoretically, you can do the exercises also alone but at least I feel much more motivated in a group. The training is exhausting, but you can deal with it. I like it so much that I`m already doing the 2nd course. I was lucky to get to know also other moms from the area whom I also meet besides the course. Off course, it rains sometimes, but with a child you are outside anyway, no matter how the weather is. You find buggyfit not only in Cologne but also at many other locations in Germany! You can either sign up for a course with 10 course units, depending on your health insurance, they support 1-2 courses per year up to 80%. Or you get a ticket where you can train whenever you want. When I go back to work, I will probably switch to the sports program in the evening without my child! I can recommend it for everyone, it is a lot of fun especially with Nora in cologne.
