Bevor ich mich wieder der Dänemark-Urlaubsplanung widme, verbringen wir noch einen aufregenden und märchenhaften Tag im Freizeitpark Efteling in den Niederlanden. Mit dabei, sechs Erwachsene und sechs Kinder zwischen 4 und 7 Jahren.
Die Preise im Efteling
Der Eintrittspreis mit 38-40€, ist natürlich nicht gerade günstig, in den holländischen Supermärkten gibt es immer mal wieder besondere Angebote, dadurch kostet es immerhin nur noch 30€/Person. Kinder zahlen ab 4 Jahren schon den vollen Preis. Fürs Parken kommen nochmal 10€ dazu. Schlappe 100€ für uns drei und da haben wir noch nichts gegessen. Bei den Preisen muss der Tag optimal genutzt werden, sprich früh aufstehen, damit wir direkt um 10 Uhr loslegen können, zusammen mit zig anderen natürlich, im Park verläuft es sich aber ganz gut. Hier lohnt es sich die Efteling App runter zu laden, so bekommt man regelmäßige updates wie viele Minuten man bei welchen Attraktionen anstehen muss.
Unsere Highlights für Zwerge unter 1m
Die absolute Nr. 1 meiner Kleinen, die Bobbahn, nach der Fahrt, ein fettes Grinsen im Gesicht: “Nochmal”! Mama war definitiv nervöser als das Kind. Ab 4 Jahren eine super Achterbahn für die ganze family.
Auch wenn wir bei Droomvlucht, Fata Morgana und der neuesten Attraktion, Symbolica, zwischen 25 und 50 min angestanden sind und sich hier in den letzten 30 Jahren nicht wirklich viel verändert hat, lohnen sich die Attraktionen und machen den Freizeitpark Efteling zu einer Märchenhaften Erfahrung. Feen, Schatzsuche und Tiere aus 1001 haben unsere Jungs und Mädels begeistert und auch für uns Erwachsene lohnt sich das Abtauchen in andere Welten.
Tipp: Das lange Anstehen mit ein paar kleinen Leckereien versüßen.
Karussell fahren und auf einem der vielen Spielplätze spielen darf natürlich auch nicht fehlen: Beim Volk von Laaf und der Schneckenbahn geht beides und beim Monsieur Cannibale gehts so richtig schön rund.
Der Märchenwald
I
m Sprookjesbos, dem Märchenwald treffen wir auf viele alte Bekannte, knusper, knusper knäuschen, wer knabbert an meinem Häuschen? Hänsel und Gretel, Pinocchio oder der Wolf und die 7 Geißlein, aber die roten tanzenden Schuhe und der schnaubende Drache haben es unseren kids besonders angetan. Auch dem verkleideten Märchenerzähler wird andächtig und ehrfürchtig gelauscht!
Mamas Highlight
Das beste kommt immer zum Schluss, mein persönliches Highlight die Indoor Achterbahn “Vogel Rok”. Im Stockdunklen geht es hoch, runter, links, rechts ohne auch nur im geringsten zu ahnen was als nächstes kommt, I like!
Glutenfreie Pause
Für die Snacks zwischendurch waren wir mit mitgebrachtem Picknick bestens ausgestattet, aber Ihr könnt euch im Park auch glutenfrei versorgen. In Holland gibt es natürlich ganz klassisch Pommes, Frikandel oder Kroketten, laut vorheriger Absprache bei Station de Oost, het Witte paard, Steenbok und de Smulpaap auch in glutenfrei!
Am Ende haben wir uns allerdings spontan für Pollens Keuken, entschieden, ein Pfannkuchenrestaurant, in dem es glutenfreie herzförmige Pfannkuchen gibt.
Die Pfannkuchen werden in extra Pfannen, in einer extra Küche vorbereitet und der Teller in Frischhaltefolie an den Tisch gebracht. Einziger Minuspunkt, der Pfannkuchen kam erst, als alle anderen schon fertig gegessen hatten, trotzdem top!
Wer hier abends noch essen will, sollte sich schon um 17 Uhr einen Tisch suchen, danach sehen die Leute Schlange und es dauert trotzdem schon recht lange bis man was zu essen bekommt. Die Wartezeit kann man sich hier aber ganz gut vertreiben, für die Kinder gibt es Ausmalbilder und Buntstifte und 1000 witzige Kleinigkeiten zu entdecken.
Kinder ab ca 4 Jahren sind hier im Efteling schon gut aufgehoben, aber auch für Teenager und Erwachsene ist einiges an Attraktionen geboten. Wir haben an einem Tag gerade Mal ein Drittel geschafft!
Before I go on with planing our holiday in Denmark, we spend an exciting and fairytale day in the attraction park Efteling in the Netherlands. With six adults and six children between 4 and 7 years old.
The prices in the Efteling
The entrance fee with 38-40 €, is of course not exactly cheap, sometimes one can find special offers in the Dutch supermarkets thus, we paid only 30 € / person. Children over 4 years pay already the full price. For parking, another 10 €. Meaning 100 € for the three of us, before we set a foot in the park. For this price, the day must be used optimally, getting up early, so we can start right away at 10am, along with umpteen others. Here, it is worth to download the Efteling App, so you get regular updates how many minutes you have to wait at which attractions.
Our highlights for the little ones under 1m
The absolute No. 1 of my little one, the bobsleigh, after the ride, such a happy face: “Again!” Mommy was definitely more nervous than the kid. From 4 years on a great roller coaster experience for the whole family.
Also one has to queue at Droomvlucht, Fata Morgana and the latest attraction, Symbolica, between 25 and 50 minutes, the attractions are worth it. Although, they haven’t changed much in the last 30 years, but they make the theme park Efteling to a fairytale experience. Fairies, treasure hunt and animals from 1001 have inspired our boys and girls and for us adults it is worth to dip into other worlds.
Tip: Sweeten the long queuing with a few yummy treats.
Carousel rides and playing on one of the many playgrounds may of course not be missed: The people of Laaf and the snail train has both and Monsieur Cannibale is a really nice round.
The fairy tale forest
In Sprookjesbos, the fairy tale forest we meet many old acquaintances, crispy, crispy knelt, who nibbles at my house? Hansel and Gretel, Pinocchio or the Wolf and the 7 little goats, but the red dancing shoes and the snorting dragon were adored the most from our kids. Even the disguised storyteller was eagerly and reverently listened to!
Mum’s Highlight
Last but not least, my personal highlight is the indoor coaster “Vogel Rok”. In the canyon dark it goes up, down, left, right without even the slightest suspect what comes next, I like!
Gluten-free break
For snacks in between we were well-equipped with picnic, but you can also eat gluten-free food in the park. In Holland, of course, there are classic French fries, frikandel or croquettes, according to the park information at Station de Oost, het Witte paard, Steenbok and de Smulpaap also gluten free!
At the end we decided spontaneously for Pollen Keuken, a pancake restaurant, with gluten-free heart-shaped pancakes. The pancakes are prepared in extra pans, in an extra kitchen and brought to the table the plate wrapped in plastic foil. The only downside, the pancake was served as all the others had already finished their food, anyway top!
Who wants to go for dinner here, get a table already at 5pm, afterwards the people queue up and it anyway takes quite a long time until the food is served. However, the waiting time can be spend easily, for the children there are coloring and crayons and 1000 funny little things to discover.
Children above the age of 4 are here in the Efteling already in good hands, but also for teenagers and adults a lot of attractions are available. We only managed to do and see around a third on one day!
