Auch wenn wir kein richtiges Meer um die Ecke hatten, sondern nur das Ijsselmeer, mussten wir doch den wärmsten Tag am Strand verbringen.

Ausflug ans Ijsselmeer

Wir haben uns für Lemmer und seinen Stadtstrand entschieden, auch wenn es besser war als nix, so ein richtiges Strandfeeling kamn bei mir irgendwie nicht auf. Für meine Kleine wars egal, Sand ist Sand sie hat gebuddelt und gespielt. Zum Schwimmen  war uns das Wasser sowieso zu kalt. Direkt am Strand findtet Ihr auch einen kleinen Spielplatz. Schaukeln und klettern mit Blick aufs Meer, macht Mama und Kind gleich doppelt Spaß.
Tipp: Eher ein seltenes Vergnügen in Holland, hier kann man direkt am Strand gratis parken.
Die üblichen glutenfreinen Pommes gab es an diesem Tag im BeachClub Lemmer direkt am Strand.
Tipp: Man kann hier herrlich draussen sitzen, aber Wartezeit einplanen bis man einen Tisch bekommt.

Mal abgesehen vom Strand ist Lemnmer auch ein süßes kleines Städtchen, es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall hier einmal durchzuschlendern und ein paar Souveniers in den Geschäften zu erstehen.

Even though we didn’t have a real sea around the corner, only the Ijsselmeer, we still had to spend the warmest day at the beach.

Trip to the Ijsselmeer

We chose Lemmer and its city beach. It was better than nothing, but a real beach feeling I did not experience. For my little one it did not matter, sand is sand she could dug and play. For swimming, the water was too cold for us anyway. Directly on the beach you will also find a small playground. Swinging and climbing with a view of the sea twice as fun.
Tip: Rather a rare pleasure in Holland, here you can park directly on the beach for free.
The usual gluten-free fries were available on this day in the BeachClub Lemmer directly at the beach.
Tip: You can sit here wonderfully outside, but plan in some waiting time until you get a table.

Apart from the beach, Lemmer is also a cute little town, it’s definitely worth taking a stroll and buying a few souvenirs in the stores.
